  • Chopped Pickles
  • Sautéed Mushrooms
  • Sautéed Onions
  • Blue Cheese Crumbles

  • (Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon is optional :)

Take 1 lb Ground Beef in a bowl and add Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic, Herbs, a few good shakes Worcester Sauce, Bread Crumbs, 1 Egg, and 1-7 Tablespoons of either FIREWALKERs depending on your desired heat and Mix together adding more bread crumbs if mixture isn't holding together.

If you have time, Put mixture into fridge for a few minutes or up to 30 mins for best marination of flavors; but, I always seem to make these on the fly so up to you.

Slice Mushrooms and Onions in large pieces and sauté in olive oil and season herbs / salt / pepper to taste. (FIREWALKER would love to join in as well)

Then, Form 4 -5 patties and press a crater into each burgers' middle (this will keep them flat when they grill and not round up on you.)

Toss Burgers on super hot grill and flip after 6 mins and let cook another 6 mins ( or so depending on desired internal temp. (please do not squish all my juicy goodness out on the grill)

Toast bun on grill for only a few minutes while burgers rest and slice Avocado while you wait

Now the fun part of assembly!

Top burger with pickles mushrooms and onions then put a generous layer of blue cheese on top.

Now add your slices of Avocado that you have salt and peppered, (and bacon if you really went for it) and squeeze fresh lime juice over along with a few shakes of FIREWALKER.

Add some hand cut fries, tater tots that you just got out of the oven, or just a good ole hand full of BBQ chips on the side and you're ready to eat! (Good time to have FIREWALKER close by as well)

Ok, it's time for me to grab a beer and start making one of these myself.

Enjoy!

**Vegetarian?  Scrap the ground beef and egg and instead use tofu or black bean burger crumbles .

Either Way... You have a Bite Back Black and Blue Burger!
